Display technology experts i-sft improve usability of their web-site for international customers
Gundersheim, June 8, 2015. The website of German company i-sft can now be used in the Chinese, Korean, and Russian languages. At http://www.i-sft.de, these three language versions can now be selected in addition to the previously existing German, English, and Spanish versions. For the experts in ‘displays and technologies,’ this is a further step in the internationalization of their business. As one of only a few service providers worldwide, i-sft offers objective, manufacturer-independent error analysis in case of display failures and problems. Thus, the services offered by i-sft are relevant for customers in all markets with a strong electronics industry. As a consequence, the choice of the new languages for the website is based on both the existing customer base of the company and the potential for acquiring new customers.
The i-sft website provides information about services relating to all aspects of display technology under the motto ‘coaching – solving – products,’ now in six languages. These services include a drastic reduction in power consumption and/or heat generation. Information in English about the three pillars of the business model can also be found in information videos related to the keywords ‘coaching’ (http://youtu.be/AnJfIrwac00), ‘solving’ (http://youtu.be/bDn5Z5jp1ug), and ‘products’ (http://youtu.be/TfYKMYx-L-A).
Often based on the analysis of unsatisfactory systems, i-sft also develop individual display solutions for their customers. To facilitate this process, visitors of the website can now use an interactive configurator in six languages. Interested parties can use it to input their project-specific requirements and to request a tailor-made quotation from i-sft.
Klaus Wammes, CEO of i-sft GmbH, explains the choice of the six languages for the website http://www.i-sft.de: “In the field of displays and technologies, i-sft already has long-standing research and development cooperations on many levels with partners in Korea. But due to the digitization of industry as a whole, almost every machine nowadays requires electronic display units. Therefore all markets with large-scale investments in industrial, infrastructure, and transportation projects are of interest to i-sft. In many of these markets English as a lingua franca is sufficient to reach potentially interested parties – but not in all of them. The addition of new languages to our website acknowledges this fact.”
i-sft GmbH is a leading “global player” for tailor-made display solutions in the capital goods sector and offers highly specialized technology services in this area, such as trouble-shooting, failure analysis, consulting, and display-specific measurements. Started in 1993 as a research department within the Siemens group, i-sft was established as an independent company within the Wammes Group in 2003. In 2014, i-sft became a founding member of Deutsches Flachdisplay-Forum (DFF) e.V., the German Flat Panel Display Forum (www.displayforum.de). Based in Gundersheim/Germany, i-sft develops and manufactures customer-specific display solutions that are used in the most demanding applications of international customers. On the interactive website www.i-sft.com, interested parties can configure their individual displays and request quotations.
